I called Veteris on a Saturday evening regarding my maltese dog Lulu who had a bad stomach and all that involves. She was clearly in discomfort. I asked for a home visit from a vet because I didn't want to stress lulu any further by taking her out so late in the evening (10pm). I was booked in by Serena the triage nurse who was very professional and wanted to establish clear facts so important information was not missed and so she was then free to take the next emergency call. I was then put on the waiting list. Then about 2 hrs later I received a call to say the vet was on his way and he arrived about 30 mins after that, exactly as they'd estimated. His name was Erwan and he instantly put me at ease. He was assessing Lulu from the first minute, watching how she was interacting in her own environment. He then examined her stomach thoroughly followed by listening to her heart followed by her temperature and a general appearance check, ie : was she dehydrated etc. The whole process was very thorough and I felt Erwan did not make me feel like a neurotic owner when I asked some questions. He never made me feel rushed even though I know they were very busy as it was after hours and the weekend. I'd highly recommend this service, the charges were the same as if I'd brought Lulu in for an emergency out of hours consult but it was so much easier in my own home. Erwan had a big backpack full of possible emergency medications . He prescribed a course of treatment for lulu and was able to give me enough of the probiotics and anti spasmodic painkillers for 2 days until our normal vet opens again on Monday. Finally, thank you Erwan. You were so kind right from the start. Very gentle with lulu, exactly who I would want to look after her. Thank you for listening and answering my many questions and thank you for making a stressful situation less scary. You were amazing. Thank you Erwan.

Don't know how to put our gratitude into a review, the Veteris team saved our dog's life. We brought our Bernese in on a Friday night, unknown to us at the time, he was in the early stages of stomach twist/GDV. From the moment we arrived, the team was incredible. He was examined immediately, and within 30 minutes, they had performed X-rays and ultrasounds, diagnosed him, received a second opinion confirming, and then into surgery shortly after. Since a puppy, he's not had the best luck in life with his health, and we feared the worst, but the speed, expertise, and genuine compassion shown by the entire team working in the middle of the night was world-class. Thanks to them, he made a fantastic recovery and his playful, smiling personality is already back. Thank you so much, we are eternally grateful.

Great emergency pet hospital. On the 3rd of February my Labrador Retriever, Mahina was very unwell and was taken to Veteris at 2am in the morning as an emergency. Vanessa ,surgeon Identified cause of the problem a foreign object trapped in the intestines she operated immediately a life saving operation was successful and Mahina was looked after so well by the nurses and pet sitters so caring & compassionate, she made a full recovery would highly recommend if your pet ever needs any emergency care. It might be a bit more expensive but you are getting first class veterinary care Very grateful for taking care of Mahina Enzo

Lovely team! Handled our emergency appointment with calm professionalism, whilst we panicked away. From the first call, through our appointment and the final check in call, everyone was super lovely and we felt reassured that they are doing absolutely everything in their power to make sure our cat is taken care of.

Saved our idiotic cat's life. Whilst we were away, our cat managed to ingest some plastic she had never been interested in before. Made a frantic call to Veteris to arrange for her to be taken in by the cat sitter. She was seen to quickly, diagnosed and operated on. Staff were friendly, professional and made us feel at ease despite us being outside the country at the time. (Attached a picture of said Idiot Cat looking pleased with herself.)

I was so glad that my independent vet practice uses Veteris in Hoxton Square for its out-of-hours emergency service. My 13yo Maltese got into her heart tabs (newly diagnosed heart murmur) while I was out one Saturday afternoon,, ate 3 days worth. Initial contact was by phone. The veterinary nurse took down all the details, then told me to take my pooch to Hoxton Square (even telling me about Uber Pets, about which I hadn't known!). From start to finish, we were treated with such care and professionalism, and friendliness. After being treated, I was able to take her home, with medication, keeping an eye on her of course. And she's fine! However, the icing on the cake: on the following Monday, I was very surprised to receive a call from one of the veterinary nurses, just checking how their canine patient had fared over the weekend!
